The 2012 Destin Christmas Parade was a huge success. This year's winners are listed below. Awards will be presented to the winners at the Dec. 17 city council meeting, beginning at 6 p.m. The City of Destin would like to thank the Christmas Parade Committee, city staff and the countless volunteers that worked hard to make the parade successful.

Civic Award (Best Civic) - American Legion
Elf Award (Best Children’s Civic) - Destin Middle School Cheerleaders
Santa’s Helper (Best Children’s Commercial) - Twinkling Twirlers
Noel Award (Best Band) - So. Walton H.S. Band
Crowd Pleaser - Destin Nights 6th Annual Santa Pub Crawl
Grand Marshal - Setco Services
The parade can be viewed on Cox Cable (channel 6) Dec. 12-31, at the following times:
Wednesdays – 11 a.m.
Saturdays – 9:30 p.m.
Sundays – 1 p.m.
