Dear Destin Residents,
Thank you for participating in our FREE Beach Parking Pass Program. The Destin City Council and city staff is pleased to do this for our full-time residents who reside within the incorporated area of Destin. The purpose of the program is to provide parking and access to our beach parks in the Crystal Beach area as well as Holiday Isle along Gulf Shore Drive. Revenues raised from the program will be earmarked for parking improvements and future parking expansion. Residents without a pass as well as visitors will pay a rate of $5 per 5 hours. Handicapped vehicles can park for FREE.
As a reminder, the beach paid parking system will launch on July 1st, 2020. The following areas in the map below are designated for the Free Beach Parking Pass Program on a first come, first serve basis: Gulf Shore Drive (near O’Steen Beach access and Norriego Point Park) and Scenic Highway 98 in Crystal Beach. These parking areas are available for use between the hours of 3 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Please ensure your sticker is displayed on the driver side window. This also applies to low speed vehicles who are properly registered and insured.
The free beach parking pass program does not apply to the Destin Harbor District parking, James Lee Park or Henderson Beach State Park.
