Get out the lights, decorations and yard ornaments! The City of Destin's Holiday Committee will be judging the Annual Outdoor Christmas Decorating Contest Dec. 1, through Dec. 14. All decorations must be up by Dec. 1, and remain up until Dec. 31. Contestants must be in the city limits of Destin to be eligible. The categories for awards are:
- Best Decorated Home
- Best Decorated Business
- Best Decorated Organization
- Best Decorated Condominium
- Best on the Harbor
- Best Overall Holiday
Winners will be announced in The Destin Log on Dec. 19, and will be recognized at a council meeting in January.
