On Tuesday, March 3 at 6:00 p.m., Youth Services Librarian, Laura Harris, will offer a workshop on phonetic reading methods and tips for parents, teachers, and tutors. This is a free workshop, but registration is required.
Does your child show signs of memorizing or guessing words without sound relation? Does your child seem frustrated when it comes to reading? This workshop is for you! We will focus on the work of Wanda Sanseri of the research-based Spaulding Method /Spell to Write and Read fame as well as professionals developing curriculum in the Classical and/or Charlotte Mason education framework.
