On March 3rd at 2:00 p.m., Rick Smith will present a visual storytelling exploration of one of Florida’s most beloved works of literature, “A Land Remembered,” written by his father, Patrick Smith. This event is sponsored by Florida Humanities and is free to the public; no registration is required.
Few, if any, books have captured the spirit and colorful history of Florida’s past as well as “A Land Remembered.” Rick Smith uses more than 50 video clips, special visual and sound effects, music and more to explore this beloved book. Learn how Patrick Smith researched the book for over two years before he could write it and his thoughts about the “real” Florida.
