Destin, Fla. – On Tuesday, January 22nd, the City of Destin adopted an ordinance that limits the number of overnight occupants of each short-term rental home in the city to two people per bedroom, plus an additional four people, with an overall cap on overnight occupancy at 24 people. To bring the application and review processes up-to-date, The Community Development Department has streamlined the short-term rental process and registration on the City of Destin website.
