Mayor Scott Fischer invites the public to join him for the City of Destin’s Annual State of the City Address on Monday, Feb. 5, at 5 p.m. at the City Hall Annex. The presentation will be given prior to the 6 p.m. council meeting that evening. Citizens are encouraged to attend this celebration of the city’s accomplishments from 2017!
“It has been an absolute pleasure to represent Destin this past year, and I look forward to sharing the current state of the city with everyone,” said Mayor Fischer. “While 2017 brought some challenges, it was also filled with accomplishments that are keeping this city moving in a positive direction. I am encouraged by what I have seen and look forward to the new year.”
This will mark the City of Destin’s 33rd State of the City Address. The event is open to the public and refreshments will be served beginning at 4:30 p.m., prior to the presentation.
