[ARCHIVED] Library Seeking Volunteers

The Destin Library is looking for members of the community, adults as well as young adults, who are interested in volunteering. Volunteer opportunities include assisting staff with patron needs, public programs (adult, young adult, and children's), special projects, and upkeep of the collection. Schedules can be created on a weekly or "as needed" basis, depending on current library needs. In addition, volunteers with computer skills are wanted to assist with scheduled technology workshops and to offer one-on-one assistance to patrons.

High school students seeking to fulfill community service hours for graduation requirements are able to fulfill this obligation as a volunteer at the library.

Those interested should contact Will Rogers at or by calling 850-837-8572.
