The Destin Library will host a two-part hands-on family history workshop on Tuesday, January 13th and 27th from 5:30-7:30 pm in the library computer lab. The program is free and open to the public. Registrants must have a valid library card from any Okaloosa County library. Registration will be limited to 18 participants.
Workshop instructors will be Sisters Bracey and Barrick, and will feature hands-on use of the FamilySearch website that purports to hold over two billion census records. FamilySearch.org is owned and operated by FamilySearch International, a nonprofit organization affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
