The Friends Guild of the Destin Library will sponsor a monthly movie night featuring independent films and documentaries on the third Tuesday of each month beginning at 4:00pm. The film series replaces Foreign Film Night, although occasionally foreign films will be shown, and its goal is to provide area residents with the opportunity to view films that are in limited release and/or unlikely to be shown in local theaters. The first film of the series will be offered on Tuesday, August 20th. The program is free and open to the public. Films are unrated and directed toward mature audiences. Seating will be limited to 30 on a first-come, first-served basis.
