The Destin Library kicks off its summer time reading program on Monday, June 3rd, at 10:00 a.m., with local favorite Nonie’s Ark Animal Adventures. Two additional sessions with Nonie’s Ark have been scheduled for later in the summer as well as programs by Charlie the Noiseguy, local ventriloquist Judy Marbry, puppeteer Lala and storyteller Pat Neese. Students will also have the opportunity to earn discounts and coupons from Taco Bell and Applebee’s for their summer reading. Internships, community service hours and the Reading Buddies program are available for older students.
