Okaloosa County Public Safety Department and the Division of Emergency Management have created a free App (application software). The Ready Okaloosa App can be downloaded on any iPhone and Android. Blackberry users should keep checking for availability. Just go to any App store and search Okaloosa to download Ready Okaloosa.
The Ready Okaloosa App provides weather updates, beach safety information, shelter information and more, as well as interfacing with Facebook, Twitter, etc. Apps are application software for specific purposes and App stores do require registration when shopping or downloading to a phone.
