Destin, Fla. – The City of Destin’s 39th annual Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 9 at 10 a.m. This year’s theme is “A Christmas Vacation”.
The floats will start at Destin Methodist Church (200 Beach Drive), travel down Beach Drive, and travel west down Harbor Blvd. (Hwy 98) to Stahlman Avenue. Please stand on the north side of Harbor Blvd. to watch the floats. For those who wish to put a float in the parade, applications are available at the Destin Community Center.
In lieu of an entry fee, we are asking that each entry make a donation of new toys, a donation of personal products (i.e., cologne or perfume), or a monetary donation and to be dropped off at the Destin Community Center.
Applications must be turned in no later than Friday, December 1. Applications can dropped off in person, faxed to 850-654-8998 or emailed to Recreation@cityofdestin.com. Please call 850-654-5184 for more information.
