On Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at 8:30 a.m. at the Okaloosa County Administration Building, located at 1250 N. Eglin Parkway, Shalimar, FL 32579, a meeting will convene to discuss issues related to the proposed expansion of the tourist development taxing district pursuant to Chapter 164, Florida Statutes, and an assessment of the conflict from each governmental entity involved. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
More than one member of the Destin City Council may be in attendance.
If any person decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at this meeting or hearing, such person will need a record of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
Okaloosa County adheres to the American Disabilities Act and will make reasonable modifications for access to these hearings upon request.
