Destin, FL. - It is time once again for Food for Fines at the Destin Library to benefit The Harvest House Food Pantry. For each non-perishable food item or toiletry item brought to the library from December 1st through January 8th, the library will apply $1.00 toward your overdue fines. If you don’t have any fines, you can still donate items to this worthy cause. The Library will accept any unexpired, unopened food items, especially canned meats, canned fruits and vegetables, canned pasta and sauce, macaroni & cheese, mashed potatoes, condiments, pancake, and muffin mix, as well as shampoo and conditioner.
